Traffic is down to single lane alternating on Highway 97 near Alexandria.
Drive BC and RCMP have confirmed that it is due to a motor vehicle incident.
Witnesses say that a semi has tipped over and lost its’ load.
No other details are available at this time.
The event marks the second MVI to occur Thursday morning on Highway 97.
Traffic was reduced to single lane alternating earlier north of Williams Lake as RCMP attended a two vehicle crash.
Williams Lake RCMP Sgt. Del Byron said police arrived to the incident which occurred at Fox Mountain Rd and Hwy 97 at 10:30 a.m.
“There are no serious injuries,” he said.
