Should the province’s Family Day shift from the second Monday of February to the third?

That’s the question being asked in Commerce Chambers across the province as reports from some financial advisors say that being closed when markets are open and being open when they are closed could be hurting B.C’s financial sector.

The benefit of having separate Family Days is that it tends to benefit industries relying on tourism income, like ski resorts
