Tourism Boom in South Cariboo

Warm welcomes and recent warmer weather in the South Cariboo has seen a significant rise in tourism numbers so far in 2015.

Val Streber, a visitor information counselor, throws out a couple explanations for the dramatic rise in tourist traffic to the region.

The first quarter data shows a 223% percent increase in visiting parties to the South Cariboo from 2014 to 2015.
