18 BC Wildfire Service personnel with one water tender were on site of a wildfire at 130 Mile south of Maze Lake Road.
The Service said on its’ Facebook page that air tankers blanketed the area and will be requested back if required to the fire that was discovered Wednesday.
While adjacent to Highway 97, the Service also said that no communities or structures were threatened at this time.
The fire as of late Wednesday was listed as 1.80 hectares in size.
There is no word on its’ cause.
