RCMP Remind People To Leave Pellet Guns At Home After Incident at Chimney Lake

The Williams Lake RCMP is reminding the public to leave their pellet gun at home when attending campgrounds.

RCMP responded at 6:49 pm Wednesday to a report of an 18-year-old male walking around the Chimney Lake Recreation Site with a weapon.

It was determined upon police arrival however that it was a pellet gun.

Both the young man and his mother were spoken to by RCMP who reminded them of the potential consequences the incident could have had.
