Williams Lake Council meeting briefly interrupted by profanity laced tirade
A Williams Lake City Council meeting Tuesday evening was briefly interrupted as a person shouted a profanity-laced tirade outside.
“It was interesting because in all the years that I’ve been here I’ve never had it,” said Mayor Walt Cobb.
“I think it was just one of those things that happened and I don’t think it was targeted at City Hall. It was just somebody that was upset about something and he had wandered around town hollering at different people at different times so I don’t think it was anything specific.”
Williams Lake RCMP did attend City Hall after the Council meeting concluded.
Cobb says the person was gone before they arrived.
