Williams Lake Boitanio Park was the scene Thursday evening of the first Performances in the Park this summer.
“It was fabulous,” says manager Angela Sommer.
“The weather was great. We had about 500 people in the park. The music was awesome, there was food, there was lots of entertainment, there was an art table set up for the kids; people had fun.”
Performances in the Park take place each Thursday evening from 6 pm to 8 pm until August 23.
July 12th features Colin Easthope and Kym Gouchie & Northern Sky.
“There’s no fire and no smoke, that’s about the biggest difference,” says Sommer.
“ I hope that we’ll have a good run this summer.”
