Decision Date Set For Williams Lake Man Charged With Murder

A Williams Lake man, charged with Second Degree Murder, will learn his fate on August 13th.

A Supreme Court Justice will hand down a decision on that date following a lengthy trial in Kamloops that was adjourned several times.

Jeremy Davis is charged in connection with the death of Nick Larsen in June of 2011.

RCMP say there was a disagreement between two groups of men in Sorrento and that a vehicle that Larsen was riding in was forced off the road by another vehicle.

Police say a suspect in the second vehicle then opened fire and that Larsen was fatally shot.

Jordan Barnes, from Mission, was also charged in connection with this case.

He pled guilty to Second Degree Murder back in October of last year and received a life sentence with no chance of parole for at least 10 years.
