School District 27 Announces 3 Appointments for the 2018-2019 School Year

There will be some new looks come the new school year at a couple of Cariboo schools.

School District 27 appointed Jill Kurki Principal at Likely Elementary School starting this August.

Kurki has worked for School District 27 since 2011 as both a teacher and an administrator, and most recently as a teacher at Chilcotin Road Elementary School.

Shawn Meville was appointed Vice-Principal of Peter Skene Ogden Secondary School in 100 Mile House.

Last year Meville was temporary Vice-Principal and will start his new appointment in August 2019 after a year’s leave of absence.

Doug Brown from Prince Rupert will fill in as Vice-Principle at PSO for the 2018-2019 school year as well as being made a School District 27 administrator.
