The long weekend brought a few incidents on the roads around 100 Mile House.
An accident on Highway 97 near Dodge road near Lac La Hache on June 30th sent one man to hospital with minor injuries. The driver apparently lost control of the vehicle and went into the ditch.
Another collision occured on Wilcox road near Forest Grove July 2nd. The driver of a motor home lost control on the shoulder of the road and flipped into the ditch. The driver was not injured.
RCMP are investigating the incidents, and also say they issued 70 tickets, 38 warnings, and one roadside suspension.
They also impounded a vehicle when its driver was clocked at 71 kilometers per hour over the speed limit.
