Nesika Elementary school in Williams Lake will have a new vice principal.
School District 27 announced Friday that Vice Principal Steve Carpenter will be moving to Vancouver Island after having worked for the District for over 12 years as an administrator and teacher.
“We will miss having Steve in our District,” said Mark Wintjes, Superintendent of Schools in a release.
Transferred to Vice Principal effective August 1st, is Kevin McLennan who is presently the Principal of 108 Mile Elementary.
“Kevin is looking forward to re-engaging with the community that he lives within”, said Wintjes.
