What does mother nature have planned weather-wise for all the outdoor activities scheduled to take place this long Canada Day weekend?
She isn’t saying so we asked an expert, Doug Lundquist, meteorologist for Environment Canada.
“Because it is the wettest time of the year in many parts of the Interior we have to expect that Canada Day weekend is often going to be showering and on the cool side. It’s pretty much average for us, that’s typical weather”.
So what does the long-range forecast look like?
Lundquist said that even though there are showers forecasted now through Monday, we still could see some sunny breaks as well.
