Two young students from 108 Mile Elementary school have received a prestigious award.
MP for Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo Cathy Mcleod presented the 2018 MP youth awards today to Nicole Hollander and Mikayla Anderson, for their volunteer work throughout the school in everything from the breakfast and lunch programs to sports teams, room supervision and the photo club.
Mcleod says the MP youth award is an opportunity to recognize some of the fantastic work the youth do throughout the riding, and inspire the other youth who see how things go when you go the extra mile.
