4 Directions Festival in Williams Lake to focus on colorful cariboo culture

This years 4 Directions Festival in Williams Lake is all set and ready to go this Stampede Weekend.

To explain what the 4 Directions Festival will be featuring is Vanessa Moberg, Marketing Director for the Downtown Williams Lake Business Improvement Association.

“The festival zone will literally extend out into four directions from the corner of Oliver and Second, so each direction will have it’s own theme. The four themes are: Get Creative, Stay Active, Celebrate Indigenous Culture and Have fun in the Telus Kids Zone”.

Moberg says they’re pretty excited about the event this year and that it’s an opportunity for Downtown Williams Lake members to say thank you to the community for shopping locally.

The Four Directions Festival which received funding support from Northern Development Initiative Trust and Telus will be held Saturday following the Stampede Parade from noon until 5 pm.
