A Cariboo cowgirl has now moved into the top five in the Canadian Pro Rodeo’s Barrel Racing standings.
Brett Wills, from Quesnel originally, is now 4th overall with just over 6 thousand dollars in earnings to date.
Kirsty White, from 150 Mile, is 10th with 38-hundred and 44 dollars.
Both are within the top 12 right now, which would earn them a trip to the Canadian Finals.
Virgil Poffenroth, from Riske Creek, moved up significantly this past weekend with a 5th place showing in the Tie Down Roping.
He went from 27th to 17th with 28-hundred and 50 dollars.
