The new Detachment Commander for the Williams Lake RCMP is gearing up for his return to the Lake City.
Milo MacDonald who had his first posting in Williams Lake, says the appointment feels like a homecoming.
MacDonald who will officially begin his position in two to three months, says he believes the detachment is in pretty good shape.
MacDonald is currently in command of the North District Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit which is a specialized unit tasked with investigating and disrupting organized crime in Northern BC.
He is married to his wife who is originally from Williams Lake.
They have 2 children.
