Charges Now Stayed Against Two Of Three People Arrested In Dramatic Williams Lake Chase

Charges are now going ahead against just one of three people arrested following a dramatic incident in Williams Lake last month.

Alexis Chin pled guilty to a breach of undertaking and a charge of Break and Enter was stayed.

Earlier this month the same charge was stayed against Travis Hennessy.

Jesse Juillette is still facing several counts including Break and Enter, Possession of Stolen Property, Dangerous Driving, Flight from Police and Driving while Prohibited.

Juillette is due back in court on the 20th for a bail hearing.

Williams Lake RCMP say a vehicle was observed driving erratically on Highway 97 back on May 4th and that they quickly learned that it was stolen.

Police say road blocks were set up at two locations complete with spike belts but that the suspect driver refused to stop and carried on with four flat tires.

RCMP say the suspect vehicle was eventually stopped when it came into contact with a police vehicle.

The suspects are then accused of fleeing the scene on foot but were quickly apprehended.
