Just Two People Now Charged After Dramatic Arrests In Williams Lake

Charges have been stayed against one of three people arrested following a dramatic incident in Williams Lake last month.

Travis Hennessy is no longer accused.

Alexis Chin and Jesse Juillette are still being charged with Break and Enter and Possession of Stolen Property and Juillette is also facing one count of Dangerous Driving, Flight from Police and Driving while Prohibited.

Williams Lake RCMP say a vehicle was observed driving erratically on Highway 97 back on May 4th and that they quickly learned that it was stolen.

Police say road blocks were set up at two locations complete with spike belts but that the suspect driver refused to stop and carried on with four flat tires.

RCMP say the suspect vehicle was eventually stopped when it came into contact with a police vehicle.

The suspects are then accused of fleeing the scene on foot but were quickly apprehended.
