A total of 577 people took advantage of advance polling for the Cariboo Regional Districts referendum on the South Cariboo Recreation Center expansion.
Voting day for the referendum is this Saturday, June 9th. The referendum is being held to allow the CRD to borrow funds to get the upgrades underway, the remaining funds will need to be raised from donations and corporate sponsors should the referendum pass.
Voting takes place from 8 am to 8 pm and stations will be located at the 108 Mile Elementary School, Forest Grove Community Hall, Lone Butte Community Hall, and District of 100 Mile House Council Chambers.
