Flooding Not Likely in Centennial Park

Flooding is a concern in many areas of the Cariboo this spring, but not in 100 Mile House.

District Works Manager Brad Scott says he doesnt think that there will be any flooding along Bridge Creek in Centennial Park. “…it’s flowing good, and the creek is exactly where it usually is.”

Scott says there has never been a flood in the park as far as he’s aware, aside from a few inches of water in one end.

Other local waterways are running high, but are not above previous years levels so far.
