Quesnel police seize loaded handguns and drugs

Quesnel RCMP seized two loaded handguns and drugs in two separate incidents.
Sergeant Clay Kronebusch said an officer conducted a traffic stop on Saturday, Sept. 26, near the Anderson Drive soccer fields.
“The officer arrested a 21-year-old Quesnel woman for impaired operation and drug possession. Police seized a small amount of various drugs, cash and a loaded pistol in the vehicle.”
Kronebusch said the woman has since been released from custody pending further investigation.
He said the results of the investigation will be sent to the BC Prosecution Service for assessment of appropriate charges.
