A 29-year old woman was the victim of a day time assault.
Williams Lake RCMP Staff Sargeant Del Byron said police were called yesterday afternoon at 5:30 by the staff at the Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex about an incident that occurred in the parking lot.
Byron said the woman was assaulted and had her wallet taken by three unknown males.
The matter is still under investigation and police will be checking video from the complex.
