Jason Ryll has announced his candidacy for Williams Lake City Council.
Ryll, the General Manager at Vista Radio in the Cariboo, is no stranger to municipal politics.
He previously served on Council for two terms between 2014 and 2022, including during the 2017 wildfires that forced the evacuation of the city, and during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ryll says his platform centers on practical, steady leadership, rather than reinvention.
He says his key priorities include fiscal responsibility, economic development and investment, a safer more secure downtown, strengthening support for homelessness agencies, infrastructure management and planning, tourism and destination infrastructure and reconciliation and collaboration.
