Emergency Department in 100 Mile closed Saturday night

Residents of 100 Mile House and the District will be without the Emergency Department on Saturday evening.

Interior Health says that the emergency services at 100 Mile District General Hospital will be closed from 6 p.m. tonight until 7 a.m. on Sunday.

Patients in need of emergency care during this time will have to access it at Cariboo Memorial Hospital in Williams Lake.

The other inpatient services at 100 Mile District General will be available.

Anyone with life-threatening injuries should call 911.

If anyone is unsure whether an emergency room visit is warranted can call HealthLink BC at 811, or visit the website for non-emergency health information.

This will be the nineteenth time that the Emergency Department in 100 Mile House has been closed since the start of 2026.
