Open Burning Ban Lifted

Good news for outdoor enthusiasts: an open burning ban in the City of Williams Lake has been lifted.
Outdoor cooking fires that do not use natural gas or propane and fire pits are now permitted.
Also permitted are campfires for areas east of the Fraser River.
All category two and category three open fires however, including sky lanterns, burning barrels, and fireworks remain prohibited.  Campfires west of the Fraser River also remain prohibited.
