New Officer in charge for Williams Lake RCMP

The Williams Lake RCMP has a new Detachment Commander following the departure of Inspector Warren Brown.

S/Sgt. Milo MacDonald, who joined the RCMP in 1996 and served his first post in Williams Lake, says not only was the work exciting but the natural beauty of the community allowed endless recreational opportunities.

There is no confirmation when MacDonald will beginning his first shift as Detachment Commander for the Williams Lake RCMP.

MacDonald is currently in command of the North District Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit (CFSEU) which is a specialized unit tasked with investigating and disrupting organized crime in Northern BC.
