Free ice cream keeps Dairy Queen busy

It was free ice cream for not just the celebration of 75 years, but also to collect some donations for the children’s hospital.
Christine Gertzen, Owner of the Williams Lake Dairy, says they were quite busy.

Gertzen estimates approximately $300 was collected through the one-day event, with owners in 100 Mile House and Quesnel saying they too had a busy day with numbers to still come in.

The next event at local Dairy Queens to collect funds for children will be their Miracle Treat Day taking place in August.
