Advance polling for the Cariboo Regional District’s Area E by-election has wrapped up.
“There were 2 days of advance polling on March 28 and April 3rd and between both of those days there was a voter turnout of 55 people,” says Emily Epp manager of communications.
General voting day takes place on Saturday, April 7 from 8 am until 8 pm with polling stations at the CRD’s Williams Lake office, Chilcotin Road School, Mountview School, and Dog Creek School.
Angie Delainey and Melynda Neufeld are the two candidates running for electoral Area E Director.
“We would like to encourage residents of Area E to come out and vote,” says Epp reminding people to not forget to bring two pieces of ID.
