Williams Lake Man To Go To Trial For Alleged Shooting Incident

A trial date has been set for a Williams Lake man who is facing charges in connection with an alleged shooting incident.

21-year old Lane Cooper is due back in court on July 27th.

The charges against him include Carrying a Prohibited Weapon, Possession of an Unauthorized Firearm and Possession of a Firearm Contrary to an Order.

Williams Lake RCMP responded to multiple reports of gunshots in the 1600 block of Broadway Avenue South back on January 20th of this year.

Police say no one was hurt but a firearm and ammunition were seized following a search of the residence.
