RCMP release photo of suspect involved in Ipad theft

The Williams Lake RCMP have released a photo of a suspect involved with a theft at Connects Wireless late last month.

RCMP says they responded to an alarm on Feb. 22 at 3:25 a.m.

Officers were on scene within a few minutes of the alarm being reported and found the front windows/door glass of two businesses smashed.

RCMP says the alarm was activated at 3:19 a.m. when the suspect made entry stealing a  display case with iPads.

The suspects were caught on surveillance video which showed a grey/blue GMC extended cab pickup with no front plate, and running boards, pull up and drive into the front door of the building.

A male wearing a grey/blue hooded jacket with white liner, a white t-shirt, glasses, and dark faded jeans entered through the broken door and immediately turned and exited.

The male is described as stocky, short with close-cropped black hair and glasses.

Anyone with further information is asked to contact Williams Lake RCMP or Crimestoppers.
