A public meeting regarding the zoning amendment regarding retail spaces was held in 100 Mile Council chambers Tuesday night regarding the changes being put in place for the upcoming legalisation of marijuana in Canada.
The bylaw change also puts a temporary ban on marijuana retail sales in the 100 Mile House area until the Federal and Provincial governments can finalize the policies regarding sales.
The meeting was held to clarify the bylaw changes for the public. The changes will include adding a definition for cannabis sales to the retail definitions.
