Quesnel used home ice advantage to win gold at the BC Hockey Midget Tier 2 Provincials.
Quesnel beat Prince George 4-2 Thursday night in the championship game of the seven team tournament before an estimated crowd of 1,000 fans at the packed West Fraser Centre.
Both teams ended up tied for first after the round robin with a record of 4-1-and-1.
Quesnel secured a berth in the final after a 5-3 victory over Fort St. John Thursday afternoon.
