Quesnel RCMP Investigating Break and Enter, Theft of Snowmobile Clothing from Business on Gassoff Road

Several thousands of dollars of Klim and Quicksilver snowmobile clothing were taken from a Quesnel business following a break and enter Saturday morning.

RCMP Sgt. Chris Riddle says that police had responded to an alarm in the 2100 block of Gassoff Road at 12:54 am and upon attendance determined that the business had been broken into by at least two men.

“The men were driving a newer 2010 to 2013 white, single cab, long box Dodge Ram pickup, with roof marker lights,” he says.

“A pickup matching a description of the truck involved in the theft was located in north Quesnel and refused to stop for police. The truck was last seen in the Narcolsi Creek area.”

Williams Lake RCMP along with Police Dog Services from Williams Lake and Prince George had assisted in patrolling for the vehicle.

“If anyone locates or anyone is trying to sell any kind of Klim or any Quicksilver snowmobiling clothing and it seems too good of a deal to be true give us a call about that too because obviously, that stuff doesn’t go for cheap,” says Riddle.

RCMP ask anyone with any information to contact the Detachment at 250-992-9211 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
