A Quesnel athlete will see action tomorrow at the Paralympic Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
The opening ceremonies were held early this morning and James Gemmell, a defenseman on the Canadian sledge hockey team, will hit the ice tomorrow against Sweden.
Italy and Norway are also part of Canada’s pool.
The gold medal game will be played on Saturday the 17th.
The United States are the two-time defending gold medal champions, while Canada took bronze in 2014.
