Williams Lake Man Appears In Court For Uttering Threats

A Williams Lake man, arrested last week for allegedly threatening his family, himself and police, is scheduled to appear in court today for a Bail Hearing.

54-year old Clifton Keith Halverson is facing one count each of Uttering Threats and Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm.

RCMP were called to a residence on Likely Road on Friday afternoon just after 1 o’clock.

Police say the area and roadway was kept clear while they negotiated with a suspect.

A man, who was alone in the home, was arrested at around 2-30.

Fortunately no one was hurt.
