Quesnel RCMP responded to an armed robbery at the Front Street Pharmacy just after 2 o’clock this afternoon.
Sargeant Darren Dodge confirms that a lone male, wearing a dark hood with his face covered, entered the store and demanded drugs.
Dodge says RCMP believe that he was brandishing a can of bear spray.
He says the suspect fled the scene with a small amount of drugs but two people were quickly apprehended…
Dodge says the reason they were able to make the arrests so quickly was because they responded quickly and received a very good description of a suspect from witnesses.
