More snow is on the way to make February the snowiest month for the region.
“Looking back at the month of February so far there’s been about 70 cm of snow,” says Environment Canada meteorologist Doug Lundquist.
“On February 22nd last year there only 11cm of snow on the ground. This year we have at the airport 63cm.”
A snowfall warning is currently in effect for Williams Lake and Quesnel.
Snow is expected to begin early Friday morning and continue throughout the day with total amounts of 10 to 15 cm.
