Communities That Care to Celebrate Its Work and Plan for the Future Next Week

A collaborative community effort to improve the health and well-being of children and youth in the community will be the focus of an upcoming meeting in Williams Lake.

Communities That Care facilitator Carla Bullringer says that the results of their second survey were released in January 2017.

“We had a community action planning event in April of 2017 and our focus at that meeting was on positive mental health promotion. What we’re doing now next week, is we want to revisit and celebrate the work that we have been doing on our strategic actions as well as what do we want to build on, is there anything new that we want to do.”

The community meeting which everyone is invited to attends takes place on February 20 at the Pioneer Complex from 8:30 am until 1:30 pm.

Bullringer says that they have about 75 to 80 people registered.
