The 100 Mile House Big Country Shriners presented a $1000 cheque to the winner of their annual Shrine Cash Calendars draw February 14th.
Steve Pellazarri won this year’s draw, and was presented the cheque by Shriners member Frank Dodds. The proceeds of the calendar sales go to support the Shriners work on behalf of children throughout the province.
Dodds says the local club raises more than $20, 000 a year for the Shrine kids for the hospitals and the transportation fund, as well as local kids in need of surgeries.
