Repeat Winner At Valentine’s Bonspiel In Quesnel

There was a repeat winner at the 52nd annual Valentine’s Mixed Curling Bonspiel in Quesnel on the weekend.

Ray Blackmore skipped his team to a 7-2 victory over Alex Coffey in the A-final.

Whitney Christie, Steve Doerkson and Christine Unghy made up the rest of the winning foursome.

Whitney was also on last year’s winning team while the other two were newcomers.

Marry Ellison knocked off Rick Cindric 11-8 in the B final, while Roger Kaleta took the C 8-3 over the Tim Cawdell foursome.

A total of 20 rinks took part.
