Restoration burns

Restoration burns will be conducted throughout the Cariboo to restore grasslands. The burns will be done from April 3rd to the middle of May.Though as As Hugh Flinton with the Ecosystem Restoration Range Branch of the Ministry of Forests Lands and Natural Resource Operations explains, residents don’t need to be concerned about air quality.

The burns will be done at Beechers Prairie, Bald Mountain, Deer Creek, Crows Bar and Ward Creek.
