Tremendous Cost to Webcast Board meetings

The Cariboo Regional District has opted not to move forward with Area D Director, Steve Forseth’s recommendation to webcast their meetings.
Margo Wagner, Area H Director and Chair of the Finance/Budget Committee, says after a further discussion last week, it was decided that the cost would be too tremendous for the too few many people it may reach.
The cost to webcast the Cariboo Regional District Board meetings would have had an upwards cost of $10,5000 to $20,000+.
The CRD will be looking to adopt the 2015 budget at their next board meeting on March 27th.
