Cariboo Bowling Lanes is asking the public in Williams Lake to be on the lookout for a couple of 6-foot tall aluminum bowling pins.
Owner John Dell says it became evident last week Wednesday that someone had taken them the previous night off the side of the building.
He says that they just want them back.
“That would be the great way to go. If not the other 3 are coming off because we’re a 5 pin bowling center-we can’t be a 3 pin bowling centre. We’ll store them inside somewhere and we’ll see where we go from there whether we replace them or not.”
“Bottom line in Williams Lake you need to paint it on the building because if it’s just only attached they will attempt to take that as well.”
Dell says that the bowling ball making up the cutout display had been taken down last month after someone had pried off the top part of it, bending it completely.
