Two residents from the Cariboo proposed a plan to construct a permanent stage for Centennial Park in 100 Mile House.
Allan Roberts and Wally Bramsleven stood before the District of 100 Mile House last night and pitched a concept plan for a stage similar to what Williams Lake has in Boitanio Park.
Bramsleven says the structure would be 18 feet by 30 feet and would possibly have a small out-building attached to hold items for the stage.
Roberts says they’re not looking for funds from the District to build the project as they would build it themselves with the help from anyone in the community that would like to be involved.
The stage proposal will be brought up at the next council meeting on December 12th for a vote.
