The first of three Junior B Hockey weekends in Quesnel has been dubbed a huge success !
Matt Kolle, who is trying to bring a team to the city, says he was very happy with everything…
“You know the fan support was great, everybody had a good time. The volunteers, the game day volunteers, like a well oiled machine and as far as the teams went, they battled hard and it was competitive hockey and represented the KIJHL very well.”
Just under 21-hundred people took in the two games and Kolle says those numbers should have sent a clear message…
“I think there is going to be positive reviews from the President and the Vice-President to the rest of the governors in the league. I think it was really important that they came up and participated and i think their feedback is going to be very positive and is going to bolster our bid.”
The Kamloops Storm will be back in Quesnel on December 8th and 9th.
