The Escape Room Fundraiser held at Peter Skene Ogden High School in 100 Mile House for the Owen Ross family has been a big success.
The fundraiser, which ran over 2 weekends this past month, raised over $3000.
Money raised will help the Ross family, as Owen fights a rare form of bone marrow cancer down in Vancouver at Canuck Place.
Natalie Sass, one of the organizers of the event, says it was a fun event to put on and it was quite hilarious to watch people trying to escape.
She says the event also opened the door for more escape rooms to come to the Cariboo, saying the high school may put on one for another fundraiser in the future.
