Denise Deschene named Woman with Heart

School-based prevention and outreach worker, Denise Deschene was this year’s recipient of the Women with Heart Award bestowed by the Women’s Contact Society.

Deschene was nominated by Pam Hermin who has worked with her for close to 20 years.

Four other notable women from the Cariboo who make it happen were also nominated.
