Interior Health hosted a wildfire appreciation lunch at Cariboo Memorial Hospital in Williams Lake yesterday.

“It was just Interior Health’s way to say thank you to not only our staff but to everybody that helped us with our patients, residents and clients, to get them out and bring them back. It could not have happened without everybody coming together, without the sense of community and working and pulling together.”
A story board was also set up to allow people to leave comments.
Boothby says they had a similar event in 100 Mile House on Monday.
