RCMP Respond to Afternoon Call Near 100 Mile House

100 Mile RCMP along with EHS and the 100 Mile Fire Department responded to a call this afternoon after a man went into cardiac arrest.

The incident occurred along Canim Hendrix Road near the turnoff to Kennedy Road.

Staff Sargent Svend Nielsen explains…

“No accident. There was a vehicle involved that was stopped by one of the Constables working in the area. Inside the vehicle was a person in distress, and the member preceded the help the person in the vehicle and call for futher assistance.”

Nielsen says there is no public safety issue involved with this incident.
