Just one day in jail after a Williams Lake man, accused of ramming a police cruiser, pled guilty to a lesser charge.
22-year old Jared Allistair Ingle pled guilty to one count of Flight From Police but charges of Dangerous Driving and Failure To Stop at an Accident were stayed.
Ingle is also prohibited from driving for two years.
The charges are in connection with an accident back in April of this year.
RCMP say a member noticed a known violent offender in the Deep Creek area and a brief pursuit followed.
Police say the suspect, after ramming a police care, then lost control and crashed.
Fortunately no one was hurt.
